Leading Web Advertisers Changes Name To
Evaliant Media Resources
A New Name Accompanies Expanded Vision for Advertising Tracking Firm NEW YORK, NY (April 23, 2001) -- The fast-growing online advertising tracking company Leading Web Advertisers (LWA) today unveiled its new name, Evaliant Media Resources LLC (www.evaliant.net), effective immediately. The decision to adopt a new name was driven by the Company's rapid expansion and its plans to extend its advertisement tracking capabilities beyond the Web and into all electronic media advertising, including on-line, wireless and digital. "To put it simply, LWA just outgrew its name," said Michael Kubin, co-founder and co-CEO of Evaliant. "Looking to the future, we want to be the authoritative source for ad-tracking data in ALL electronic media. Our new name says a lot about us: our objective is to provide significant 'value' to our clients by providing the data they need to 'evaluate' their strategic marketing decisions. And we will be quite bold - valiant! - in tracking e-media wherever the technology and industry may develop." Since the Company's launch in the Fall of 1999, Evaliant has experienced rapid growth, driven by market demand for its comprehensive, near real-time tracking services. The number of U.S. web sites tracked has increased five-fold, to over 2,700, while the number of brands tracked is currently 85,000 and growing daily. Evaliant has also extended its reach globally, tracking over 2,300 sites in Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Last year's launch of two groundbreaking new services - AOL proprietary site ad tracking and Contact Manager - continue to fuel the Company's growth. "Our products and services set us apart," said Evaliant President Bev Andal. "So we needed a more distinctive name that would provide a strong marketing platform to support the growth of our services worldwide. Evaliant provides that platform."
